In the infrastructure projects of DB Station&Service AG, the construction and thus all the trades are always heavily dependent on predetermined, very tightly scheduled track possessions. The application of lean management in the project "Platform extension at HD-Kirchheim/Rohrbach station" enabled an interdisciplinary view of the project at an early stage, so that dependencies could be identified at an early stage and coordinated and systematically processed in regular lean meetings.
